Will be a full-time

representative

To the editor

Since 1979 I have strived to be the best possible educator I could be to the youth in our area and I will take that same sense of purpose to Columbus in represented all citizens of the 81st District. I have filed my petition as a Democratic Candidate for the Ohio House of Representatives District 81.

Even in my 36th year of teaching, I remain deeply in love with what I consider one of life's noblest professions. But if you, the people fee I deserve your vote and I am elected, I will retire from teaching to be your full-time representative.

As always I am available to speak to any local groups and am looking for campaign volunteers. Those willing to host a house party and encourage anyone with questions to contact me at my home 419-639-3924, by mail, PO Box 453, Green Springs 44938 or by email BillYoung101@ yahoo .com. I currently have a campaign facebook page and within the week, hope to have a full featured website up and running.

I have been very blessed to be part of both of these wonderful communities we live in and I look forward to you continued faith, trust and hopefully vote in the future starting with May 4, 2010.

They put a smile

on her son's face

To the editor,

My name is Helen Meadows. I'm proud to say I have lived in Clyde my whole life. I am a Christian, a widow and a mother of a very special son. I'm sure you have seen him walking with me through Clyde. He always has a big smile on his face. How blessed I am that God would give us this amazing child that we named Charles Brandon Meadows. I should mention he is special needs. I could tell you that caring for a special needs child is difficult, but then so is raising any other child. Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengthen me. This verse helps me daily.

I want to tell you just how happy this young man has made his mother. How blessed I am at the little things he does like walking at 5 years of age. I saw how hard he worked at that simple thing one foot in front of the other. Most parents take for granted that their child will walk at a much earlier age. What a victory when he succeeded.

Clyde Life Enrichment Center is a wonderful place for the clients from Sandco. They have group time every day and are given their jobs for the day. There is not just work for them either; they have field trips to the Mud Hens, zoo, Ritz Theatre, glass museum, crafts, cooking class and much more.

There are three very understanding, talented and caring women that are with them every day. Dawn SMith, Amy Getty and Renee Hohman (better known as Charlie's Angels) have all been with Sandco Ind. for many years. They are tried to work with out adult children. They love their jobs because they love their clients and the clients love them too.

My son's face just beams when he sees them. Seeing my child happy and growing more independent puts a big smile on my face also.

Helen Meadows, Clyde
