Brian T. Collier

Brian T. Collier, 41, Clyde, passed away Friday, March 5, 2010, at his residence.

He was born April 16, 1968, in Bellevue, the son of Larry G. Collier and Becky (Crabtree) Nestor. He married Tammy Spencer on Sept. 20, 1997.

Brian attended Bellevue High School and was a member of the U.S. Army from May 1, 1985 to Nov. 1, 1988, having served in Korea. He had been employed as a heating, ventilation and air conditioning technician. He loved outdoor activities, including hunting, fishing, camping, and four wheel riding. Brian was always available to help others and especially enjoyed time with his children.

Survivors include his wife, Tammy; two sons, Branden Simon and Ryan Collier; a daughter, Brooke Simon; a sister, Traci (Mike) McMurray; his stepmother, Kathy Richmond; his father, Larry G. Collier; mother Becky Nestor; and a grandson, Dominick Simon.

A memorial funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 13, at 11 a.m., at Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue, with Rev. Jon Shepherd, pastor of Providence Baptist Church in Bellevue, officiating. A dinner will be served at Providence Baptist Church, 6994 Gardner Road, Bellevue, following the memorial service.
