A Findlay woman avoided injury Sunday morning when the 2006 Buick Rendezvous she was driving slid on Ohio 412 in Townsend Township and hit a Vickery home.

Sheryl Rettig, 46, Findlay, was westbound on Ohio 412 when she lost control of the vehicle on an ice and water covered roadway, according to a report from the Fremont Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Rettig's car slid off the south side of the road hitting a mailbox, bushes and a house.

The home at 4865 Ohio 412 is owned by Carl Rhoads.
