The Flier football team got the season off to a great start with a come-from-behind, 21-17 win over Eastwood at home Friday night.
It was the season opener for both teams and it avenged a loss to Eastwood in last season's opener.

19th Go-Kart Grand Prix on Sept. 19
The 19th Annual Go-Kart Grand Prix race will be held during the Clyde Fair on Sunday, Sept. 19.
Sign-in opens by 9 a.m.; drivers' meeting at 10:30 a.m.; practice starts at 11 a.m.; and heat races begin at 1 p.m.
