Seventh grade girls enjoy 17-0 record

McPherson Middle School coach Brad Bannister said he has had a great season with his seventh grade girls team.

"It has been a fun year this year working with these terrific kids," he noted after his Lady Fliers ended with a 17-0 record.

The also were the Sandusky Bay Conference Champsions.

On Feb. 16, the MMS girls won the championship game against Huron, 45-31.

"These kids are great kids on and off the floor. All year long they worked hard and committed themselves to becoming better basketball players and better team players. I look forward to seeing these kids grow over the years," the coach noted.

Kelsey Michaels and Makaylin Lozier led the Lady Fliers with 14 and 13 points respectively. Arcadia Dodson put in another 8 points. Other team embeers scoring for Clyde were Kristen Hermes and Kaity Marcha, 4 each, and 2 each from Savanna Roth, Stephanie Morre, and Allysa Freidberg.

Other team members included Haley Foos, Savannah Long, Megan Chong, Anna leck and Kaitlyn Dickman.
