It was not the way that they wanted to go out, but the Fliers were eliminated from their Division II Sectional basketball game at Sandusky in the first round on March 2 by Norwalk 38-37.

The Fliers were plagued by close losses all season and once again a close game came back to haunt them, a game that could just as easily gone the other way.

With the loss the Fliers end their basketball season at 11-10 overall and 9-5 in the Sandusky Bay Conference. With the win Norwalk goes to 11-10 on the season.
