Local church plans relief trip to Haiti, seeking volunteers

On Sunday, Aug. 1 at 6 p.m., Journey Church will be hosting an open informational meeting regarding a relief trip to Haiti, working with Mission of Hope, Haiti.

Regardless of church affiliation, those interested in helping with either construction of homes or sharing medical expertise may consider joining the church-sponsored group in Haiti during the first week of February 2011.

On Sunday, Aug. 1, John Mazur from Mission of Hope, Haiti will be sharing more about what the trip will entail and will be answering questions.
