Clyde and Green Springs firefighters battle a fire at the Jack and Shonda Cook residence on TR 195 Wednesday afternoon. (Enterprise Photo by Becky Brooks) On June 8, between 40 and 50 parent volunteers and McPherson Middle School students moved all of the furniture out of the classrooms at South Main Street School, loaded it on semi-trailers and moved other boxes and equipment to new locations within the building. Because the teachers had done such a great job of packing and moving everything prior to this the volunteers were able to do the jobin a little under two hours and then sit down and enjoy some pizza that was provided.
