1:15 a.m., Jan. 4: A 911 call from the 300 block of North Main Street reported a domestic dispute. Officers responded. The matter is under investigation.

12:20 p.m., Jan. 4: The Huron County sheriff's office called to ask officers to serve an arrest warrant on Kelly Vaught, 33, of Oberlin, for contempt on an original charge of assault. Vaught was arrested in the 100 block of Groveland Street and transported to the police department where custody was transferred to Huron County deputies.

1:46 p.m., Jan. 4: Wal-Mart reported a theft complaint. Mike Dempsey, 36, of Elyria, was arrested for theft and transported to the Lorain County jail.

5:23 p.m., Jan. 4: Wal-Mart reported a theft complaint. Keith Baisden was charged with theft and released on $1,000 surety bond.

8:29 p.m., Jan. 5: Korre Gaines, 32, of Oberlin, was arrested on a bench warrant for contempt through the Huron County sheriff's office with a notation for no bond. He was transported to the Huron County jail.

8:01 p.m., Jan. 7: Rodney L. Thomas, 41, of Lorain, was arrested on a bench warrant through Oberlin Municipal Court for contempt. He was released on $250 bond.

4:36 p.m., Jan. 8: A subject arrived at the police department to report the rape of another individual. The matter is under investigation.

10:20 p.m., Jan. 7: Daniel L. Kelley, 30, of Elyria, was arrested on a bench warrant through Oberlin Municipal Court for contempt on an original charge of theft. He was released on $3,500 bond.

1:42 p.m., Jan. 8: Oberlin College Safety & Security reported a suspicious mailing received by an Oberlin College employee. Upon investigation, the suspicions proved unfounded.

4:26 p.m., Jan. 8: As the result of a traffic stop, Ronneta Wachtel, 36, of Millersburg, was arrested for driving under suspension. She was released on $1,000 bond. Her passenger, Jared J. Graham, 26, of South Amherst, was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released on $400 personal recognizance bond.

8:02 p.m., Jan. 8: Officers responded to the 100 block of Lincoln Street to serve a warrant through the Elyria police department on Edwina Fenderson, 27, of Oberlin. She was transferred to the custody of an Elyria police officer.

2:33 a.m., Jan. 9: A domestic dispute was reported in the 400 block of South Pleasant Street. Officers responded. The matter is under investigation.

3:15 a.m., Jan. 9: An officer reported to the Lorain County jail to serve Richard Feliciano, 27, of Lorain, with a bench warrant through Oberlin Municipal Court for contempt. He was held at the Lorain County jail in lieu of bond.

2:12 a.m., Jan. 10: A domestic dispute was reported in the 100 block of South Pleasant Street. Officers responded and issued a warrant for the arrest of Ragenna Daniels, 40, of Oberlin for domestic violence. She was arrested on Jan. 11 and transported to the Lorain County jail without bond.

7:30 p.m., Jan. 10: Norwalk police advised they had picked up Joshua Wilmoth, 19, of Norwalk on a bench warrant through Oberlin Municipal Court for failure to appear. He was transported to the Lorain County jail.

3:44 a.m., Jan. 11: David M. Crowell, 36, of Lakewood, was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated and blood alcohol content over legal limits. He was advised his driver's license was under administrative suspension and released on personal recognizance.

9:37 a.m., Jan. 14: Eastwood Elementary School reported possible physical abuse of a student by a parent. The matter was referred to juvenile officer Lt. Kevin Scalli.

2:27 p.m., Jan. 14: An officer took a report of misuse of a credit card. The matter is under investigation.

5:21 p.m., Jan. 14: A criminal damage complaint was received in the 100 block of East Lorain Street. The matter is under investigation.

6:27 p.m., Jan. 14: An officer responded to the 100 block of South Main Street for a rape complaint. After investigation the complaint was determined to unfounded.

10:44 p.m., Jan. 14: A 911 call from the Oberlin Inn reported a man in violation of a protection order. On Jan. 15, an officer responded to the Lorain County jail to serve a warrant on Brian Keith Murphy, 54, of Oberlin, for violation of a protection order.

5:43 p.m., Jan. 15: Officers stopped Raymond Butler in the 200 block of South Pleasant Street and arrested him for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. He was transported to the Lorain County jail in lieu of $2,500 bond.

3:35 a.m., Jan. 16: As the result of a traffic stop, a 16-year-old female driver was cited for no operator's license and curfew violation. She was released to a parent.

3:41 a.m., Jan. 16: Criminal damaging was reported in the 100 block of South Park Street.

3:49 p.m., Jan. 17: A complainant arrived at the police station to report fraud and forgery, involving misuse of a credit card and forged checks.

8:25 p.m., Jan. 17: Brandon Brletic, 18, of Elyria, was charged with unlawful sexual conduct with a minor and pandering obscenity involving a minor. He was transported to the Lorain County jail and held on $20,000 bond.

11:06 a.m., Jan. 19: Disorderly conduct was reported at Langston Middle School. The matter is under investigation.

10:07 p.m., Jan. 20: Martin Henderson, 29, of Lorain, was transported to the police department and cited for failure to reinstate and carrying a concealed weapon (brass knuckles). He was released on $5,000 personal recognizance bond.

12:39 a.m., Jan. 23: An officer arrested Adam Boyette on a warrant through the Elyria police department for failure to appear. He was transferred to Elyria police custody.

7:13 p.m., Jan. 23: Donna Hadgis, 41, of Wellington, was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated, blood alcohol content over legal limits, failure to control-weaving, and an open container in a motor vehicle. She was released on personal recognizance.

9:43 p.m., Jan. 23: Wal-Mart reported a theft complaint. Curtis Bryant, 39, of Elyria, was charged with theft. He was released on $1,000 bond.

3:45 p.m., Jan. 24: An officer responded to the 200 block of East Lorain Street for a suspicious person complaint.

1:54 p.m., Jan. 26: Wal-Mart reported a theft complaint. Jacqulyn Lee, 60, of Port Clinton, and Nicole Lee, 32, of Warrenton, were arrested for theft. Each was released on $1,000 personal recognizance bond.

5:37 p.m., Jan. 26: A complainant called to report harassing phone calls and electronic messages. The matter is under investigation.

9:32 a.m., Jan. 27: An officer responded to the Oberlin Municipal Court lobby to take Ronnah Taylor, 55, of North Ridgeville, into custody on warrants through the Wellington and South Amherst police departments for failure to appear.

7:49 a.m., Jan. 28: An officer responded to the 100 block of North Professor Street for a theft complaint.

11:44 a.m., Jan. 28: The assistant administrator at Langston Middle School reported a fight had taken place. The matter was referred to juvenile officer Lt. Kevin Scalli.

2:04 p.m., Jan. 28: The Lorain County Academy reported an unruly juvenile. The juvenile was released to a parent. The matter was referred to juvenile officer Lt. Kevin Scalli.

5:54 p.m., Jan. 28: Oberlin College Safety & Security reported a theft at Barrows Hall.

11:46 p.m., Jan. 28: An officer made contact with two juveniles in violation of the curfew ordinance.

6:03 p.m., Jan. 29: Murphy Oil made a complaint of theft. The owner later located the item.

12:52 a.m., Jan. 31: Officers responded to a report of a man laying on the sidewalk in the downtown area. James F. Cave, 50, of Oberlin, was cited for disorderly conduct by intoxication.

5:41 a.m., Jan. 31: Allen Community Hospital reported assault on two nurses by a patient. The matter is under investigation.

5:19 p.m., Jan. 31: An officer stopped a vehicle for failure to display a front license plate and cited Cherish Hess for the violation and driving under suspension for failure to carry insurance. Her passenger, Jennifer Trogdon, 33, of Lorain, was arrested on a bench warrant through Elyria Municipal Court for contempt. She was transferred to the custody of a highway patrol trooper on the scene.

8:51 p.m., Feb. 1: The Oberlin Inn reported an intoxicated man. Bradley Dycus, 57, of Oberlin, was charged with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct by intoxication. He was transported to the Lorain County jail in lieu of $1,000 bond.

12:09 a.m., Feb. 2: A noise complaint was received from the 100 block of North Prospect Street. Brogan Reed, 22, of Oberlin, was charged with obstructing official business, resisting arrest, and disorderly conduct by intoxication. He was released on $1,750 personal recognizance bond.

4:18 p.m., Feb. 3: Guy Walker, 60, of Oberlin, was arrested at Allen Community Hospital on a warrant through the Sheffield police department.

4:35 p.m., Feb. 3: Curtis Bryant, 39, of Elyria, turned himself in on a bench warrant through Oberlin Municipal Court for failure to appear. He was transported to the Lorain County jail in lieu of $2,500 bond.

5 p.m., Feb. 3: A subject reported the theft of a cell phone at Phillips Gym.

12:23 a.m., Feb. 5: Alvin Wynn, 45, of South Euclid, was arrested on a warrant for contempt through the North Olmsted police department. Custody was transferred to North Olmsted officers.

4:39 p.m., Feb. 7: The Elyria police reported they had Adam Fankhauser in custody. An officer took custody of Fankhauser, serving him with a bench warrant through Oberlin Municipal Court for contempt. He was transported to the Lorain County jail in lieu of $5,000 bond.
