Hundreds of people still fill the gym toward the end of the benefit for Bubba Andrews on Sunday afternoon. This is the last major public event being held in the old gym which is slated to be remodeled this spring. (Enterprise photo by Becky Brooks)

On Sunday, the parking lot at Clyde High School looked as if the community had packed in for a major sporting event.

There were coaches from throughout the Sandusky Bay Conference, team members from Margaretta, St. Mary's, Oak Harbor and of course a sea of Clyde High School jackets.

Jim Andrews stood in the main hallway outside the cafeteria watching as people flooded into the building for a benefit dinner and silent auction to support his 20-year-old son, Bubba. He was amazed at the teams who had members come to Clyde to support his son and family.
